The Bite reps stopped by yesterday and let us have a peek at the next generation of their high-top disc golf shoe. It will be available in a darker color scheme and is fully waterproof. The low-top version will also feature a waterproof outer, a real plus for those dewy morning rounds. Unfortunately, the new line isn’t due out till 2008. I really wish they would have released the Vertigo Line. I prefer the more subdued look, and the less aggressive sole would be nice on concrete pads.

DId he/she give any indication on price point? Also, more colors?

I can’t tell you whether this is an additional color or will be the only color. I asked about a darker color, since I am not to fond of the light tan, and the guy ran out to his car and brought this shoe in.
As far as price point, no mention was made of a change for the high-top, but the low-tops may increase due to the addition of waterproofing.

Could anyone try out the KEEN line of shoes and sandals? They look like a good alternative to the Bite (which aren’t lady friendly). Although the Keen line is not disc golf specific, they look like they’d be great. I thought I’d get the pros take on the situation. Thanks!
