In an attempt to put the ‘News’ back in DGWN, we will provide a steady stream of disc golf goodness. Timely event coverage, playing tips, as well as the latest product reviews are all fair game here at DGWN.com.

Who Are These Guys?

Disc Golf Hall of Famer, firebrand, and self-confessed beer snob, Rick Rothstein has been covering the world of disc golf for over 20 years. He is the founder and prime moving force behind the Ice Bowl events held each winter which have raised over $1.3 million for charity since its inception in 1987. A fearsome indoor putter, Rick is known as “The Intimidator” among the staff of DGW.

John Chapman, aka “Chappy”, has been a fixture of the disc golf landscape for several years now. Since picking up the game in 1985 Chap has served on the PDGA Board and the Rules Committee, and laid down the law at numerous major tournaments throughout the country. John likes his Bock and is unbeatable at trivia.

Upon emerging from a smoky foosball dojo sometime around 1997, Sean Gibson discovered disc golf and the internet simultaneously. As the primary bit-mover here at Disc Golf World, he is most likely the one responsible for any problems you experience with the site. A devout hophead, Sean enjoys a fresh pale, a flat release, and fondling new plastic… sweet,sweet plastic!
